The exterior features embroidery of Yukio Mishima’s signature on the wearer’s left chest, the Tantenokai emblem on the wearer’s right sleeve, and calligraphy reading “voices of the heroic spirits” along the back, the title of a Mishima short story about fallen soldiers written shortly before his suicide.
